DID IT FAIL? First Time EVER Making Strawberry Jam

How did Mom always make this look so easy!?

Today i'm trying something that i have never done without Mom's help. Will it fail? I guess we will find out!

Strawberry Jam Recipe (You may want to double this recipe)
What you will need:
1 2/3 cups prepared strawberries
2/3 cups granulated sugar
2 TBSP Freezer Pectin

To prepare strawberries, wash, hull and mash berries. For smoother jam, use a food processor.
......
First combine sugar and pectin. Add fruit, stir for 3 minutes. Pour jam into freezer jars or boxes, leaving 1/2 inch headspace to allow for food expansion during freezing. Let stand for 30 mins. makes 2 (8oz) half pints of jam
