Wire Ring - Wire Bead Ring - Jewellery Making Tutorial - Make a Gemstone Ring
Welcome to my Channel.
I'm going to show you how to make a wire ring set with a drilled gemstone.
Here's what you need:
6 inches or 15cm of 0.9 mm wire (19 awg)
60 - 80 inches or 1.5 - 2m of 0.315mm wire (28 awg)
I used a 3-4mm cube of Amethyst
My wire today was from www.wires.co.uk

Wire Gauge???
Yes! I mostly use UK terms, as I’m from the U.K 🇬🇧. I do try to include US Terms but in case I miss them here they are 😊 Thank you 😊
0.25mm - 30 AWG
0.4mm - 26 AWG
0.6mm - 22 AWG
0.8mm - 20 AWG
0.9mm - 19 AWG
1mm - 18 AWG
1.25mm - 16 AWG
1.5mm - 14 AWG
2mm - 12 AWG

Techniques used:
Wire weaving a ring shank
Measuring your ring shank
Setting a gemstone using the drill hole with wire
Turning a loop

Tools used;
Flush cutters
Chain nose pliers
Round nose pliers
Steel Ring Mandrel (mine is in UK sizes but an average size in the UK is N-O which is a size 7 in the US)
