Naoki Hamaguchi shared new details in a Game*Spark interview covering postgame content, Snowboard and customization.

Postgame content is a major pillar, with continued exploration after the story instead of simple chapter replay, plus high difficulty challenges beyond the final boss.

"We have prepared a great deal of content that is much stronger than the final boss, such as the Weapons and Knights of the Round."

Snowboard returns not only as a Gold Saucer minigame but also within a dedicated story segment, making it part of the main narrative.

"We have prepared a story setting worthy of how iconic Snowboard is within Final Fantasy VII as a whole."

Customization separates visuals from combat. The FITS system affects abilities and playstyle, while skins remain fully independent, letting players keep their look regardless of build. Older costumes and outfits like Tifa’s swimsuit also return.
