Xe's Final Fantasy News - Final Fantasy VII Revelation

Final Fantasy VII Revelation will feature a new English voice actor for Sephiroth. Naoki Hamaguchi confirmed the recast during an interview on Maximilian Dood’s YouTube channel after the game’s reveal at Summer Game Fest 2026.

Fans had already noticed a change in Sephiroth’s voice in the announcement trailer. Hamaguchi explained that previous actor Tyler Hoechlin was unable to return.

While the replacement was not initially named during the stream, it has since been confirmed that Travis Willingham has taken over the role.

Willingham is already familiar to Square Enix fans, having previously voiced Ryid Uruk in Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and Aced in the Kingdom Hearts series.
