Max Good stopped by for his normal segment and talked about the review of Myron Mixon's smokers. We specifically talked about the water smoker. We also talked about the Amazingribs.com policy on having a grill company "pick up the expenses" for a potential review.

The BBQ Central embedded correspondents segment was a hit again!! Now 2 months old, I will be moving this segment to the 10:14pm Eastern slot going forward because these guys deserve the time to flex. If you want to be a correspondent, please email me with you interest.

Mike McCloud from MMA Creative and the creator of the World Food Championships stopped by to talk about the current state of the National Pro BBQ Tour. Mike also confirmed that MMA Creative and the Kansas City BBQ Society will be parting ways at the end of the year. We also talked about the IBCA vs. KCBS contest that will happen at the WFC this year...potential to grow in the future.
