Small Caliber AK74 & AK74M - AK History Part III

In Part III in our AK History, we talk about the development of the small diameter, high-velocity 5.45x39 M74 7n6 cartridge, and then get into the rifles created to utilize it. We look at the earliest AK-74s, talk about production changes, and also get into the side folding AKS-74. Finally, we compare with the modernized AK-74M, which is still Russia's standard issue infantry rifle today.
As a bonus, we talk about how the Romanian PA-86 (AIMS74) and Polish Wz.88 Tantal are similar to and different than the original Soviet-Russian 5.45mm designs too.
