Subaru's NEW Contract Spirit Beatrice | Re:Zero Season 2 Episode 24 Review/Analysis

While Emilia fights rabbits at the Sanctuary, Subaru and Beatrice form a contract as the Roswaal mansion burns down. There was also some cut content regarding Elsa's death.

I hope you enjoy my review of ReZero Season 2 Episode 24 AKA ReZero Episode 49.

Beatrice finally abandons her 400-year contract with Echidna, and forms one with Subaru instead. Now his contract spirit, Beatrice will accompany Subaru for the rest of his journey. As the mansion collapses, they fly to the Sanctuary to help Emilia fight The Great Rabbit. Roswaal has trouble accepting his defeat, and desperately tries to keep Ram alive. For some reason, Ryuzu Shima's internal dialogue is in the voice of Echidna, the Witch of Greed. Could this mean Ryuzu is best girl!?!

Elsa was supposed to die this episode, but they cut it because last episode was so good. Instead of being crushed by Rock Piggie, zombie Elsa was supposed to burn to death after Subaru escapes into Beatrice's library for the last time. Everyone thought she died last episode, so it would've been a nice surprise to see her again, but oh well.
