Emilia's Last Trial | Re:Zero Season 2 Episode 22 Review/Analysis

Has Emilia always been this cute? After passing the 2nd Trial of the Sanctuary, Emilia prepares to face the disastrous future in the 3rd and final Trial of the Sanctuary. In tears, Echidna tells Emilia her true feelings. Meanwhile, the battle for the Roswaal mansion continues.

I hope you enjoy my review of Re:Zero Season 2 Episode 22, AKA Re:Zero Episode 47.

Garfiel fails to deal lasting damage to Elsa, and Subaru fails to gain Beatrice as an ally. Frederica protects Otto, Subaru, Petra, and Rem, but run into two dangerous Mabeasts. A giant hippo named Rock Piggy, and the same Guiltylowe from earlier this season. Meanwhile in the Sanctuary, Emilia rejects the impossible reality she witnesses during the second trial, and moves on to face the disaster yet to come. Also, Echidna really hates her for some reason.

This was one of the best episodes of Re:Zero Season 2, possibly one of the top 5 episodes. I expected Emilia's 2nd trial to be underwhelming, but White Fox made it amazing instead. Sorry for the late upload, the fake TackFam Sponsor bit took longer than I expected it to.
