Miniature Tesla Turbine vs 2 Bar
This is the 1st in the series of the journey to figure what pressure will be enough to make this rotor go supersonic. This creates a controllable tornado in a box. Something you can use to propel another machine with and transform the RPM into another speed for the job you want to do.
The tank is actually 9 litre not 25 litre as stated in the video.
It's 2" cubed so without going silly this is most probably the smallest I would ever build to do anything useful. It has a 28mm rotor.
It is currently using 80,000rpm rated SKF 623 bearings, Aeroshell 12 oil and an unbalanced rotor.
