How Ironhide broke his ankle in Transformers 1. As I'm sure you're all aware, our favorite Autobot weapons specialist was built tough. He's a stocky boy with a lot of accessories to put down any Decepticon punk. The guy has more guns than a small third-world country, and he may or may not have blown up a planet with those said guns. He is just an all around tough bout who can sustain a lot of damage. If you take a closer look at his overall aesthetics you may have noticed how rough he looks around the edges. For 1 he has a large scar covering most of the right side of his face, including his eye. The front of his helmet has been caved in. But the thing that I don't think a lot of fans have noticed is that he walks with a slight limp. Which is due to an injury he gets in the 1st movie. After a rough landing in a suburban pool he actually dislocates 1 of his ankles. Which you can seen by the panel that overlaps his foot.
