MORNING IN LUANG PRABANG 🇱🇦 | Breakfast by the MEKONG, Shopping & LAOS UXO HISTORY 💣☕🛍️

Our morning in Luang Prabang 🇱🇦 started at the beautiful Belle Rive Boutique Hotel 🏨, where we had a peaceful breakfast 🍽️ along the Mekong River 🌊. The view was stunning, and it was the perfect way to start the day!

After breakfast, we headed out for some shopping 🛍️, picking up souvenirs for my nephew and niece. Then, it was time for a tea and coffee break ☕ at Café Amazon, a popular spot in Laos known for its locally sourced drinks.

Next, we visited the Lao UXO Center 💣, an important organization dedicated to educating people about unexploded ordnance (UXO) left behind from past conflicts. Laos remains the most heavily bombed country per capita in history, and the center works to clear dangerous explosives and support survivors. Although the center was closed, we still got to see some of the bombies (cluster bomb remnants) displayed outside.
