Del Shannon and Tom Petty + Phil Seymour - Runaway 31.12.78.avi

In remembrance of Del's passing some 20 years today on 02.08.1990 - here is a real hidden gem !! Tom Petty recently issued a deluxe Anthology which includes this concert. Sadly both Phil Seymour's and Del's performances were axed from the final cut. However - both performers are clearly visible on Petty's left hand side during "Breakdown" on the newly issued DVD. Del played rhythm guitar and performed back vox along with Phil Seymour during "Breakdown". IIRC - Tom would go on and perform with Del (as a guest star) on 4 occasions during Del's "Drop down and get Me" tour in 1982.
