About Dwight Twilley: From Tulsa, Oklahoma; Dwight Twilley was born June 6, 1951 and is an American pop, rock singer, songwriter and producer, best known for his hit singles "I'm on Fire" (1975) and "Girls" (1984). The Dwight Twilley Band signed to Shelter Records in 1974. Dwight’s music is associated with the power-pop style. Twilley and Phil Seymour performed as the Dwight Twilley Band through 1978, and Twilley has performed as a solo act since then.

Dwight and his manager wife, Jan Twilley, reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma where Dwight continues to write, record, and produce his music. Although his fame came by way of his musical gifts, Dwight Twilley is also a renowned painter, illustrator, and artist! Since childhood, Dwight Twilley has created hundreds of masterpieces that make up his current archive. The collection can be characterized as romantically inspired, emotionally charged, lyrically motivated, and abstractly clever.
