First Egg for Tulsa Redtails
March 9, 2009: Jay brings Kay a pine bough for the nest, and then he flies off. The egg is white with brown blotches. The clutch size, 1 - 5 eggs, depends upon the availability of prey for the adults. The female does most of the incubation, and the male brings food to the nest. Eggs hatch in 28 35 days.
