BOB DOWNE & CORALEE HOLLOW - Havin' My Baby (1988)

Four years before Mark Trevorrow created his comic character BOB DOWNE, he and Gina Riley (of KATH & KIM fame) created CORALEE HOLLOW, in 1980 - the brassy, ballsy 'funny lady' later seen on FAST FORWARD, SOMETHING STUPID, BIG GIRLS BLOUSE and THE BOB DOWNE SHOW. Here's an early Bob & Coralee appearance - on Melbourne afternoon TV show OUR PLACE (hosted by Shane Bourne, Wilbur Wylde and Red Symonds). They're promoting BOB & CORALEE'S PICK A HIT, their long-running cabaret game show at the Last Laugh. Bob & Coralee start their outrageous duet of Paul Anka's HAVIN' MY BABY when the producer presumably gets nervous about the lyrical content, pulling out of the song.
