Boy George LIVE MY LIFE rare remixes & vinyl only versions

A collection of just SOME of the many remix versions available for Boy George's second solo single in the USA, "Live My Life". Originally written and recorded for the John Cryer film, "Hiding Out", it was a top 40 hit (peaking at #40) just as George was finishing his solo tour in Europe and the UK for his album, "Sold". Included here are the following mixes:

THE MOVIE MIX- from the soundtrack album. It did not appear on any of the single releases for this title, and other than the soundtrack album, it has only been used as the B-side to "No Clause 28", in Japan.

THE PERCAPELLA MIX- Released only on the US 12" Promo alongside three other variants of the "Soul Mix"- the version Virgin America pushed as the "hit" side, but not the version that was played on the radio or released as the A-side in the rest of the world.

THE KLUB DUB- Vinyl only version, released in the USA & Canada on the commercial 12". Very interesting sound compared to the "Klub Mix"- the bass is much chunkier and there are echo effects on the keyboards and backing vocals not present on the full vocal version(s)

THE BUSINESS MIX (Featuring MC Cyndee) Released months after the US debut of the single, this was the third (strictly limited edition) 12" release in the UK- and completely re-recorded for the honor. George was in the very early stages of starting his own record label, More Protein, and Jeremy Healy (credited here as "Supersperm") was one of his first signings to that label with his project, E-Zee Possee.

THE QUAKE DUB- Another US / Canadian only affair- this time giving the dub treatment to the "Soul" version, in a different manner than the percapella version. Unlike that mix, THIS mix does drop in some of the lead vocals towards the end, with tons of cut & paste stuttering effects that plants it firmly in the eighties.
