This is my proverbial pinching myself. I know people seem to only like the translucent death mask vid, but THIS Is what STILL has me floored and convinced of who's identity is in this photograph (besides it's provenance, matching vest, coming from a Smith Family Photo album...)

Since my website got thousands of view suddenly in one week, I've had a lot of emails, I've been so grateful for the men and angels lifting me up through all of this. Despite a major illness a month ago, I am back and running as fast as I can. People from Utah have here and there become interested and one might be able to an MSI test to see if something important was written below the 1840s Illinois Man's face, pray that I find someone who can do similar testing nearby (not Utah) if that option doesn't pan out.
