UCC Shooting, The Realness of Inhumanity and Apathy

I care about anyone experiencing the reality of inhumanity, racism and religious bias. I KNOW what it's like to feel how real, a horrific act is, but to look around me and feel the true pain of apathy, from those who- it's just not REAL, to them...

October 1st 2015, I suddenly felt real- horror, as my little town of Roseburg was splashed on the news, became merely a topic of debate- before I even knew if my friends, attending UCC, were alive, maimed or okay... I had a family member attending UCC, that semester. I felt pain, when some people- far away from the horror, shamed me for feeling what I felt, and even accused me of lying about where I was from...

I know how it feels to hurt, but I forgave, and five years later- it has given me perspective, as I see the same feelings coming from African American Saints, wanting us to just FEEL, and we are silent, seem to not care about anything going on; as we just keep SMILING and avoiding anything that makes us sad and unhappy. This is their UCC Shooting, anytime it happens on the news, like me- they worry and think,

"That could be my brother, my aunt, my sibling..."

Like the UCC Shooting being REAL to me, this is simply put- REAL to them in ways it may not be- to ME, to others who don't have a fear of cops. I support the cops, I support hospitals, but they CAN all be corrupt, at times, but we have to just have reform, better psychologists, MORE cops- so burnout doesn't happen, maybe- MORE PAY, so again- BURN OUT. Support the good cops, and maybe we'll invent robots to swoop in and safely contain people in humane ways, that don't cause harm to cops, probably sounds more scary, but we need justice and safety- without safety we are missing a very basic innate- human need...
