I will start the video with this great saying of Marcus Aurelius “Be like the cliff, against which the waves continually break; but it stands firm and tames the fury of the water around it.“ Stoicism is all about making you wise. Stoics knew very well that hard times are inevitable, and that is why, they always advised us to be prepared for them. Seneca says “Difficulties strengthen the mind, as labor does the body”. Seneca also thinks that the special characteristic of a great person is to triumph over the disasters and panics of life.

Difficulties in life are inevitable. Stoics knew about this very well, and they had given us some practical advice about how to make it through hard times. All of the great Stoic philosophers like Marcus Aurelius, Epictetus and Seneca has given us some practical advice about how to make it through hard times. This ancient wisdom of Stoicism has been time tested.
