Jolyne Cujoh Suite | Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean (Original Soundtrack) by Yugo Kanno

FINALLY, after over a year and a half of waiting we got the main theme track for Jolyne. Kanno stated that Jolyne's main influence was American jazz and that big band style, which is prevalent throughout the uses of her theme. Much like the Jojo's before her, she has a guitar riff ostinato that sounds punchy and efficient, accompanied by some percussion and jazzy brass beginning the supporting melodies of her theme. There are also gospel-esque singers humming throughout the track, before the theme soars on light and sweeping strings playing her main motif. It's as heroic and gorgeous as the Jojo themes before, but this time conveying a groove and determination unique and specific to Jolyne herself. The gospel singers shamelessly sing the title of the part during these grand sections, and it's about as Jojo as a theme can get. The only thing I wish is that this theme was used way more than it was, because compared to Jotaro and Giorno's themes it's only in a meager 7/60 tracks. Nonetheless, with what we have, it's another incredible Jojo theme from Kanno, which isn't a surprise at all.
