Groot Suite | Guardians of the Galaxy (Original Soundtrack) by Tyler Bates

Didn't know Groot had a theme in the first movie until listening to the score in preparation for making these suites. It's a simple four note motif that builds from there, but it's constructed with gentle piano and string ensembles that portray Groot's sincerity and gentleness. Synths accompany his theme later on, as do grand orchestral flourishes and a choir, but instead of detracting from the mood and atmosphere they help amplify the heart and kindness of Groot's theme moreso, especially in his final moments.
