2 old ways to enjoy LIVERWURST from 1940 - Liverwurst Sandwich & Liverwurst with Poached Eggs 😀

Two liverwurst suggestions from 1940! D'Ohhh!!! Sharing :)

Open Liver Sausage Sandwich
1 slice liver sausage--1/4 inch thick
2 slices bread, 1/2 inch thick, toasted
2 slices of bacon
Lettuce...salad dressing...sliced tomato
...dill pickle...watercress
Fry bacon until crisp. Cover one slice of
toast with lettuce leaf, lay tomato slices
on leaf and top with salad dressing. Place
two slices of bacon on other slice of toast
and liver sausage on this. Garnish with
dill pickle and watercress.

Liverwurst with Poached Eggs
Slice of hot liver sausage on buttered
toast or English muffin, topped with
poached egg.
