Farberware Electric Griddle No. 260

Unboxing, cleaning and polishing a vintage Farberware electric griddle No. 260.
I believe this griddle was made prior to 1966 when Walted Kidde acquired Farberware. A "Subsidiary of WALTER KIDDE" or "Division of" was later printed on the bottom. Modern models also came with a textured bottom. Probably saved them money on polishing though they were tougher to clean because of the nooks and crannies.
