There are many versions to this credit card and is perfect for those of all credit types. If you are just starting out or have bad credit consider getting the student credit card of the secured credit card. Secured Credit cards will give you a limit that is equal to your deposit. This way you can borrow against yourself. This is the best way to build credit with you have no credit or bad credit. Once you have good credit I suggest going to the Discover It main card as it's one of the best overall credit cards out there.
