Aging with Grace: Paying for Aging
Aging comes with its own challenging financial issues considering costs and income needs for everything from living arrangements to possible elder care. Individuals and families will learn how to define their financial goals and execute them, and will present some of the considerations in paying for our golden years.
Rabbi Stander is the Community Aging Specialist for HHCI CARES (Caregiving, Aging, Resilience, Ethics, and Spirituality). Prior to joining HHCI in August 2021, he served as a pulpit rabbi, chaplain in both hospital and hospice settings, and ombudsman for long-term care facilities in Harris County. He holds a Master’s in Hebrew Letters from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion.
