BOATYARD BLUES Nr 2. Sailboat repair reality - 10 projects at the same time.

Refitting a sailboat is always a lot of different projects running at the same time: replacing standing rigging, replacing all thruhulls, installing new toilet Lavac instead of not working Jabsco, resealing boat hatches, sanding the hulls, fairing the hulls with 2 parts marine epoxy, priming the hulls. Also – trying to find out what is the mystery of missing oil in the left engine. And the drama with the mast! When the rigging specialist Romain inspected our mast he said – Guys, we are really lucky, because you nearly lost your mast.
And everything works in so called GMT time – GRENADA MAYBE TIME. Which means – waiting, waiting, waiting. Waiting for the boat spare parts, waiting for workers to come and work.
