Martin Tran, Joseph Tran, Theresa Tran, Thomas Tran Killed in Truck Accident

Grant County, WA — July 28, 2026:
Authorities said 34-year-old Martin Tran, 69-year-old Joseph Tran, 66-year-old Theresa Tran, and 39-year-old Thomas Tran were killed, while five other people were injured in a truck accident at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Frenchman Hills Road West near Royal City. According to officials, an eastbound 2018 Honda Civic reportedly collided with a southbound semi-truck on Dodson Road South. Martin Tran, who was driving the Honda, and passengers Joseph Tran, Theresa Tran, and Thomas Tran were pronounced dead at the scene. Another member of the Tran family was flown to a hospital with critical injuries. Officials said the 68-year-old truck driver and three passengers—a 71-year-old woman and two children—were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Additional information has not yet been released. The incident remains under investigation.
