Ahmed Sadiq Killed, 3 Injured in Truck Accident on I-80 in Carbon County, WY

Carbon County, WY — July 28, 2026: Authorities said 35-year-old Ahmed Sadiq was killed and three other people were injured in a rollover truck accident at approximately 4:00 a.m. on Interstate 80 near Peterson Road. According to preliminary reports, Sadiq was driving an eastbound 18-wheeler when the truck reportedly veered left off the roadway into the center median before overcorrecting to the right and overturning, coming to rest on its left side. Officials said Sadiq sustained fatal injuries. The three other injured individuals suffered injuries of unknown severity, and authorities have not yet released details regarding how they were involved. Additional information remains pending.
