When I saw that video of Tom Billinge and Khayyam Orujov together, I knew I had to step up my game with Persian Meels. It's fascinating to me that this is actually part of the Persian Zurkhaneh sport. It really is an art and part of the system. There's just not a lot of footage of it floating around on the internet. Luckily I have suitable clubs to flip with and in this video you'll see my attempts at practicing it. It's the only two times I've tried it so far and I am pretty happy with the results. It's painful on the hands however haha.
