Dog Breeds that Can Kill a Timber Wolf!!!

#dogvswolf #kangalvswolf #caucasianshepherdvswolf Dog breeds that can kill a timber wolf.
Our video today is part 1 of dog breeds that can take probably take down a timber wolf. First let us make it clear that Timber Wolf is huge in size with roughly 1000 to 1200 psi bite force.
On the top they are skilled hunters and know how to make their prey submit easily, so wolves have an edge over dogs no matter how good of fighter a dog is? But if the fight is inevitable then there are very few dog breeds that we think have a 50 50 chance against timber a timber wolf. There is a possibility that they would be able to take down a timber wolf. So with no particular order our firs dog that we think can fight off a Timber Wolf is Alabai. The Central Asian shepherd dog, also known as the Alabay or Alabai is a livestock guardian dog breed. Traditionally, the breed was used for guarding sheep and goat herds against wild animals or stray dogs.

However, as we explained at the start that wolves fight to kill and they'll always have an edge over any dog in one on one fight. But the dog breeds that we are adding are huge , strong and some of them are bigger and some of them have a lot of endurance to take on any large wolf. Male Alabai dogs can reach upto 30 inches in height and 80kg in weigh, and a male timber wolf can reach upto 32 inches and it can weigh upto 82 kg.
The National Breed Club in Russia developed a temperament test to reveal a dog's willingness and ability to protect the premises. There are several other types of tests and training titles, from simple to extremely complicated.

The next one in the list is Indian Mastiff or Sindh Mastiff also known as Bully Kutta.
It is generally agreed upon that it like the Alangu Mastiff developed in the desert area of Kutch, in the Bhawalpur area of Punjab and in the Rajasthan area under the Sindh district.

Thus it shares the majority of its origin with the Alangu Mastiff, where at some point; more than likely due to conflicts and changing borders, it is believed to have diverged into its own type of Mastiff.
This new type was then further separated into regional strains. The Bully Kutta strain present in northern Pakistan is said to have been influenced by the Central Asian Mastiff, while the Bully Kutta in southern Pakistan was influenced more heavily by the Indian Mastiffs. This breed was initially bred to fight animals as large as wild boar and bears. Today, the Bully Kutta is particularly popular in Pakistan for illegal dogfighting. You might be wondering if there’s a meaning behind this Mastiff’s name. Believe it or not, this tough doggo’s name has nothing to do with being a mean bully. Bully kuttas can reach upto 44 inches in height and upto 100kg in weigh. They were bred to fight and it's in their traits.
We would say that Bully Kutta is a large version of pitbull, although they are big but they have a perfect balance on them. Unlike great danes their legs aren't skinny and extra long, they are well built , wide chested , large skulled dogs. If trained for fighting they can be very very aggressive towards other dogs and they'll never back down no matter what.
Although we don't endorse the cruel support of dog fighting, but you should know the purpose they were bred for like pitbulls. We think that a Bully Kutta can easily fight off a timber wolf in one on one fight. If you are living in an area where you need protection from timber wolves then we'll suggest buy few bully kuttas and you'll never regret.

The next in the list are Kangal dogs. The Kangal Shepherd Dog is a breed of large livestock guardian dog in Sivas, Turkey. While the Kangal Shepherd Dog is often referred to as a sheep dog. it is not a herding dog, but rather a flock guardian that lives with the flock of sheep to actively fend off predators of all sizes. Typically used as protection against wolves, bears, and jackals in its native Turkey.
The Kangal Shepherd Dog is not as heavy as some other Mastiff breeds, allowing it greater speed and agility than larger dogs.
Kangal Shepherd Dogs can reach speeds of up to 56 km/h.
A working Kangal Shepherd Dog on duty will station itself on a high vantage point overlooking its flock. On hot days, the dog will dig itself a hollow in the ground to keep cool. Novices learn by staying close to older dogs. The dogs will work in pairs or teams depending on the size of the flock, taking up positions around the sheep and changing their positions as needed. The intensity of their patrols around the sheep increases at nightfall.
The Caucasian Shepherd Dog is a breed of large livestock guardian dog native to the countries of the Caucasus region, notably Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Dagestan
For centuries dogs similar to the Caucasian mountain dogs have served shepherds in the Caucasus mountains as livestock guardian dogs, defending sheep from predators, mainly wolves, jackals and bears.
