Hand Rolled Gujarati Chapati Factory | Rotli / Roti Production Line at RK Dining in Preston, UK

It's almost hypnotic watching how the ladies here make Gujarati chapatis (rotlis) in bulk, this i think is a privileged peek into a chapati making "factory" call it a masterclass in the coordinated team work of making artisan rotis (Indian flatbreads) it does not get better than these freshly hand rolled chapatis'.

Watch closely and you will see that every movement, every flick of the wrist, every action has a precise purpose in making perfect & fast chapatis.

It's a real pleasure to witness the "art" of fast Roti making in action.....but these are not ordinary Rotlis' these are a Gujarati chapatis which get rolled very thinly (quite difficult to do).

Here the Chapati recipe ingredients contains:
* Wheat Flour
* Oil
* Hot Water

The rotli head chef tells us that 800 to 1000 rotlis are made within an hour.

We are impressed by how fine tuned & well honed this production line is, how perfectly aimed the chapati is when it flies through the air onto the conveyor belt.

We love also the final stage of the production process; when the finished chapati emerges from the conveyor machine

Chapatis' are enjoyed all over Gujarat and they make an especially great breakfast or are packed for picnic lunches for Gujaratis' and Indians.

We love eating food that is blessed by hand and human touch and further energised and charged by positive thoughts, fresh made daily.....delicious restaurant quality, home cooked style food, but at very affordable street food prices!!!
