Today we have a look at Dean's SFA Toyota Hilux Build!

This car was built by Dean all by himself, in his garage at home, here in sunny South Africa, and what this little lux can do is just insane! Relieved of some weight, a roof or door here and there, a bit of the load bin, chunky tyres, and a suspension lift, nothing seems to stop this car.
This garage build proves just how impressive a budget 4x4 weapon can be, with some choice modification and a bit of elbow grease.
Often leading the charge on our adventures, not only is this Hilux the first car Dean ever owned, taking him on amazing trips all over Southern Africa, and being a work vehicle for his own business, it's more than that, a part of his life's journey, a family member. It was also made the year he was born, in 1989. Over the years this car has changed considerably, and I have had the pleasure of wheeling it in all of its forms, from a stock double cab bakkie/truck/ute, to what it is today, a red hot fire cracker of a 4x4 that is ready and willing to take on any obstacle thrown at it!
