TIERKLOOF 4x4 Trail - One 4WD doesn't make it! Our favourite trail. Rock Crawling: 80 Series+Jeep XJ

You don't want to miss this one! We tackle our favourite trail in the Western Cape, the EPIC Tierkloof 4x4 Trail! 80 Series LandCruiser, Jeep Cherokee XJ and SWB Land Rover Defender 90 lay it all out on the line on this stunning and technical trail.

Ruts, Rock Crawling, Loose rocky surfaces, Axle twisters, Sand and views that are to die for, we are talking about the Tierkloof 4x4 Trail. It has it all. The maiden voyage for my 80 Series on a PROPER Trail, you'll have to watch to see how it does, but let's just say I'm happy:)

So, Tierkloof...
Myself and the gang absolutely love this trail. It combine some really fun, rocky and technical driving with breathtaking views, scenery and wildlife if you are lucky enough to spot them.
One of my favourite aspects of the track is how each obstacle the routes between them have a multitude of line to take depending on your skill, capabilities and courage.
This is definitely not your typical point and shoot 4x4ing. With the Brandvlei Dam and surrounding mountains as your backdrop, it's hard to stay on your line through the challenging obstacles as your eyes wander to the beauty of your surroundings.
The balance that Tierkloof strikes between adrenaline filled action and scenic magnificence is something that other trails struggle to match.

I already can't wait to get back there again! There are so many new lines I want to try!
