Pantanal | Birds and Wildlife at Araras Eco Lodge | Mato Grosso Brazil 2023 | Relaxing Video

Relaxing nature video of the Pantanal in Brazil, the worlds largest tropical wetland area. The Pantanal is home to an astonishing diversity of birds and wildlife. In only three days we were able to capture over 100 different species of birds, mammals and reptiles. We spotted the endangered hyacinth macaw and many other parrots, parakeets, aracari and toko toucan. We also came accross the tapir, agouti, marsh deer, red brocket, capybara, and the southern tamandua. High up in the trees we saw the Azaras's capuchin monkey. A true highlight at the end of our trip were the pantaneiros (Brazilian cowboys) driving cattle along the road.

Welcome to our birding and wildlife expedition in July 2023 to the Pantanal in Mato Grosso in Brazil. We stayed three nights at the wonderful Araras Eco Lodge and would like to thank the excellent staff and our amazing guide Fred for this outstanding experience.

Sit back, relax and enjoy our relaxation video about the Pantanal.

For animal identification, please refer to the video subtitle or to the species list below.
