The Jersey Got Out.

This summer, we’ve been the proud foster parents of this sweet, mischievous heifer for Jess’s 4-H project. For the most part, she has been my favourite little addition…. But she knows how to gain my attention. SHE GETS OUT!

If you follow me over on Instagram, this is a reoccurring problem that I’ve tried numerous little ’Sandi fixes’, so far to no avail. Today, I rigged up another restraining order, so we will see how that works.

The boys are still here ratcheting down this massive roof, which means chores are all over the map, and clean up has to wait until they leave at night. I did take some time to give my Grober automatic lamb feeder a good cleaning.

As for lambing…
Still no babies!
Wondering if they’ve held on due to the stress of the barn? Thoughts??
