Rock the Prairie!

Black-tailed prairie dogs know how to rock the prairie! They are found on the Great Plains east of the Rocky Mountains from Saskatchewan in Canada to Sonora and Chihuahua in Mexico. This one was rockin' near Big Timber, Montana. They are very social animals and excellent diggers, building underground “towns” of chambers connected by tunnels. Before humans reduced their habitat, some prairie dog towns spanned thousands of square kilometers.
