Unique Food of Phrae Province ('Nam Prik Nam Yoy'), at home in 'Long.'

Baan Pong, in Long District, is home to some of the best snack food I have ever had in Thailand! Khanom Jeen Nam Prik Nam Yoy - this dish is a winner.

One of the most calm, clean, peaceful and picturesque towns you could ever want to visit (by bicycle, or by car is fine too...). Roll in, have a few plates of White Rice Noodles covered in Prik Nam Yoy, and be loved on by one of the sweetest small home-cooking chefs around.

Phrae Province has been a favorite destination of mine since the first time I visited, and I am always looking forward to the next chance to visit. The North of Thailand is just exceeding all my expectations, and after living in Chiang Mai now for 18 months, I see that I am just barely getting started!!

And that feeling, is quite amazing indeed...
