My Mom (and Li) Cried to see MY HOUSE in the Thai Countryside (Chum Phuang)

"Are you brave enough to go upstairs?"
Surprise! and welcome (back) to Chum Phuang.

I invite you to look past the disarray because honestly, I was quite happy in this house, and I still often miss the years that I was working as a teacher in Chum Phuang. I am happy to share this video as it even reminds me to be thankful for where (we) have come, and where (we can) reach next.

The test of living in this situation was more than worth it for ALL the experiences so unique to this life, and I have nothing but GRATITUDE for the years of life and love I enjoyed here.

Watching this video, I can tell you directly that you will get to know a lot more about me, and understand more about my life in Thailand, just by watching this one video. So far, this is one single that could go some way towards explaining both my personal 'mission,' and my source of happiness. Faith in God, and a faith that holds both hope and love at the forefront of any personal action or ideal (and also just a LOT of goofy fun times living as a single white guy in free school housing, even when none of the other teachers wanted to live there!) these are basic and important things that would probably color all of my own words, actions, and also be the lens through which I experience life as a subject myself.

I have wanted the chance to make this video for awhile now, and a huge massive hug and thank you to my friend Ba Mohng (Auntie Mohng) for showing up at exactly the right time!*

*here, Li might add, why did the Gecko have to choose this very same time as well?

Much love everyone, both Li and I have several videos ready to share with you from Chumpuang, but we felt like this one should be first - we feel so lucky to have been able to go on this visit to my previous home, at this time, and we hope you enjoy all of these videos.
