Legal Action Over Covid PPE Contracts Moves to Next Stage

The ongoing legal action against the government's award of questionable contracts for PPE at hugely inflated prices and sometimes dubious quality has advanced to full hearings on many aspects for next year. However, in a setback, a judge did rule that the government was free to use these contracts to obtain equipment well beyond the expected life of the emergency.
