The BEST carrot cake! Full of FALL flavors & so moist

Carrot cake is a moist, spiced cake made with grated carrots, flour, sugar, oil, and eggs, often incorporating nuts and spices like cinnamon and ginger. It is typically topped with a cream cheese frosting. The carrots add natural sweetness and contribute to the cake's tender, dense texture. I also incorporate applesauce & crushed pineapple to take it to the next level. I have used this recipe for years & I love it!

Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour (spooned & leveled)

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 and 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup canola or vegetable oil

4 large eggs room temperature

1 and 1/2 cups light brown sugar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

1 cup crushed pineapple

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

3 cups grated carrots, lightly packed

Nuts(optional)
✅Add any spices of choice

✅Eggs need to be @ room temp

✅You can use sweetened applesauce

✅I add crushed pineapple to make it more moist

✅Don't overwork work your batter

✅Bake until a toothpick or cake inserted comes out clean

✅Its always best to freeze cakes for better results & frost while cold
