Happy Smoothie Loving Alex

Barbed wire entrapment keeps us busy all year round and this time it was Master Alex who became trapped on a fence.
Following a restorative rest in a warm humidicrib and lots of fluids and smoothie, Alex was moved to our flight aviary to continue his rehabilitation.
Many weeks later he was released back to the wild to continue on with his pollination and seed dispersal duties.
So many others are not so fortunate. Please limit use of barbed wire or even better, remove the top strand which can potentially significantly reduce catch'.
