He may be small but he'll stand up for himself which is a very valuable skill to learn early in your life if you are a flying-fox.
Now that this bout of rain has finally come to an end, baby Jason is able to spend his days basking in the warm autumn sunshine with our other bats in care.
As the nights are getting cooler and without a proper bat mother to wrap her in her wings to keep him warm, Jason still spends his nights in a heated room. along with his room mate Tallulah the Tube-nose.
It's a big day for Jason tomorrow has he will taste his first bat lolly.
