Sunbathing Batty Beauties
Many folks wonder why we put our flying-fox orphans in the sun as bats are generally thought of as creatures of the night.
That may be true for many bat species but Australian flying-foxes roost in the tops of trees enjoying daily sunshine which is important to maintain good health and to keep wings in tip top condition.
Misses Blossom and Leilani thoroughly enjoy their morning sunbath in the warm winter sunshine.
