Mexico Diving in the Sea of Cortex

From Diving in Mexico, in August with the Nautilus Explorer Liveaboard , you can see thr difference in the protected marine parks and non protected, Over Fishing has taken alot of the Big Fish out. we're as in the Protected Small Area's you see the Fish like Big Groupers can get Big.

On this trip, I Seen lots of Green Morey Eels, Puffer Fish, Porcupine Fish, Box Fish, Parrot Fish, Groupers, Panama Fish, Wrasse, Green Turtles, Fur Seals, Sea Lions, Yellow Snapper, Striped Yellow Snapper, Trigger Fish, Jack's, Trevally, Zebra Eel, Leather Bass, Hog Fish, Squirrel Fish. Eagle Ray, Guitar Ray, Mobu Ray, Common Ray, Angel Fish, Spiny Lobster, Nuti Branch, Sea Bream, Barracuda, 2 Fin Whales. Dolphins,

I only seen Sharks at the Cabo Pulmo Reserve, so maybe wrong time of year in August in the Sea of Cortex.

Fishing is a big part of communities life's and is the living for many but has to be managed very carefully, every country should have a 30% of there Water's as a Marine Reserve to allow stocks reproduce and recover. The Thousands of Sport Fishing Yachts Hunting Big Game Fish and Sharks ,must catch and release if they want there business to survive in the future, while using special hooks that desolve, if left in the Sharks or Fish if not landed.

The Tourism Trade is worth Millons to Countries in the Tropics that have Marine Protections with Diver's and Snorkeler's paying Premium to see Healthy Reefs, Sharks and Whales, this is sustainable into the future, but still has to be managed carefully with pollution and human population growth demands.

Every Diving Trip I do, I'm more aware of the things we can do to help.because I see what only a handful of people see, but the benefits of well managed Marine areas are there to be seen.
