Romania's Best Street Food. Insane Feast in Bucharest

Romania's Best Street Food! This week we’re finally trying street food in Bucharest! The goal is try to find both Romanian and international street food in the city.

We start things off with what we hear is a Romanian favourite, covrigi, which is similar to a pretzel. You can find them all over Bucharest, on street corners and bakeries (we got ours at a place called Luca). We get one that’s covered in sesame seeds.

The next dish we tried was not Romanian but it sounded like one we had to try in Bucharest, a hot dog! There was a few different options but we decided on the one named after the country - the Romania Hot Dog and it was delicious.

After this we headed to a place we’d seen in a few places throughout the city that only serves fries called Cartofisserie. We got one order plus a couple of sauces to go with it.

After taking a bit of a break we headed out to small street food shop to get some pork tacos. Anyone that follows us regularly knows how much we love Mexican food and these ones did not disappoint!

Next up was another dish we heard we absolutely had to try while in Romania, a dish called Mici or Mititei. They are basically small cylinders of ground meat. We also got ours with some Romanian cheese.

We didn’t want to finish the day off without a dessert, so we headed to a nearby food truck/kiosk that makes pancakes/crepes with different fillings and we opted for Nutella. It was the perfect way to end a delicious day!
