Dalstrong 7" Santoku Knife

These knives are the highlight of my husband's day! He has been in college since we first got married meaning that buying new knives were low on the priority list when we had a set that I had during college. He would come home and gripe about how dull they were. NEVER again! He can talk about this knife all. day. long.

This blade gets it's beautiful appearance from the Damascus steel. Damascus steel is steel made with a wavy surface pattern produced by hammer-welding strips of steel and iron followed by repeated heating and forging, used chiefly for knife and sword blades. Then it's nitrogen cooled for additional hardness to keep the knife stronger for longer. Specifically for santoku knives, the hollows on the blade allow for chopping without food sticking to the blade.

It also says a lot about a knife when the handle is as detailed as the blade itself! The handle of this blade a garolite 10 material. It's a very, very strong material that helps balance this blade and is ergonomic. I have only scratched the surface of the things that we love about this blade, but suffice to say that you are getting your money's worth here. It's great for chopping things quickly! I would recommend this blade to anyone.
