How to Get a Job at a Startup as a Programmer

Landing a job at a startup can be a bit different than landing a job at a large tech company like Google or Facebook. In this video, I'm going to talk through the difference between the two, the reasons why these differences exists, and how you go about navigating the interview process at a startup so you can present yourself in the best light and get that dream job at the startup! (And make millions of dollars of course)

TL;DW:
Interview processes at large companies have to be developed in a certain way to maximize scale, fungibility of those they hire while also avoiding as many litigation risks as possible. A startup does not operate under the same constraints. As such, interviews at large companies may focus more on data structure and algorithms to make the interview process more generic, but these types of questions are less important at startups. Startups are more focused on being able to do the job at hand and also for culture and personality fit.

Be able to concisely communicate why you are a fit for the job and your ability to hustle and get things done is going to be key in turning that decision into a yes.
