Story Time | Trucking Answers

Every week or so I get an email that spells out an offer for me. No, this is not to renew my car warranty or help a prince move some money. An email will show up from a company that is an offer to work together to promote that company on the channel. As many viewers of this channel know, I do not accept money from trucking companies to promote their company. I think that is a better way for me to go so people know that when I give my opinion of a trucking company it is not paid for by that company. Anyway, I get a letter from a mega carrier to do a video for them, to promote them. I wrote back and told them I don't do that but I would do a video free if they would send over all the information they give a new driver at orientation, especially pay and expectations. They quickly backed off of doing that. Why might that be? Trucking companies are not so ready to give this information out yet they want someone they don't know to promote them. Heck, even if I got paid how can you promote a place that you don't know anything about? It doesn't make any sense. It would be hollow and only to get money and that is no way to go. So, apparently I won't be on the good list of this company and that is ok with me. Why don't I name this company? I only had dealings with them in an email to me, not in a public forum or asking them a public question.
