The Best Is None Too Good: The Career of C.S. Cone
The story of the life and career of Wausau bandleader and impresario, Clive Sterling Cone. Cone was one of the most important figures in establishing the music institutions of Marathon County. His long career included touring with vaudeville-esque theater troupes, to creating a military band for the Spanish-American War, to a decade-long post as proprietor of Wausau's Grand Opera House, and more.
