#10 Cheapest City in America: Youngstown, Ohio

The #10 cheapest city in America is Youngstown, OH. Where you can still buy a decent house for a price of $114,000.

The reason that Youngstown is cheap is because its housing market performed very poorly over the last 30 years due to outbound migration and an economic downturn.

However, Youngstown seems to be performing better in recent years, with more people moving there during the pandemic in 2021 and 2022.

It might not be the best place to live, but the houses are still cheap.
